God has blessed me greatly with beautiful loving children and now he is giving me wonderful grandchildren. God has placed on my heart the desire to leave behind a documented record of the things He has revealed to me which have both guided and challenged me through the years in maintaining a personal relationship with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

 

When Joshua led the children of  Israel across the Jordan River into the promised land a stone alter was built as a memorial to remind all future generations what God had done for them. The words I have assembled here are stones in an alter to God to remind my children and grandchildren what God has done in forming the foundations of their lives. While many of these writings are deeply personal to my family there are principles which may be applied to all families.
