Hi, I'm Chuck Thomas. Thanks for visiting my web site. This is for me a very special place. For many years I recorded, in written form, the thoughts God put in  my heart during bible study, prayer and meditation. I later began to share through the mail some of these thoughts with my family, friends and pastors of small churches who were experiencing trying times in their ministry.  In 1994 I wanted to reach a larger audience with the messages God placed on my heart but was limited to just the immediate area and the area of referrals. By 1996 the mailing list became difficult to manage. The internet caught my attention so the ministry shifted to email and snail mail.

 

During 1996 I tried my best to figure out how I could have an internet presence which would reach a worldwide audience but didn't have the knowledge of html markup or java script to make the transition. But, God in his wisdom, through a series of circumstances caused both Charlie and Tim (my sons) to become involved in the internet. Through the development of their talents and skills, they have been able to give me the internet presence I had long desired but could not attain. It was out of this desire that Churcheshosting.com evolved. Some say I am a patient man but believe me, I am not. 

   

After sharing the idea with my son Charlie, he leased the server, registered and reserved the name, created the first web pages and submitted to search engines.  Tim created the current web page templates used for each page and gives technical advice as well.  The two of them worked together to get one of the best control panels on the market and then worked out all the bugs.

 

Churcheshosting.com has evolved into a ministry to Christian churches and Christian organizations to give them a web presence that they might not otherwise be able to have while serving as the site where individuals can come to receive a message of encouragement or post a prayer request. Churcheshosting.com is a co-operative family effort.  Ardyce, my wife, has given her time, talent, patience and endurance to proof and edit the spelling, grammar and punctuation before the final writing is sent or posted. Sometimes I get a little too anxious and post them in the rough. You know Ardyce just loves that!  LOL.

 

God has been so good to surround me with the talents and skills of Ardyce and my sons. It is amazing that God would give me this ministry and these messages. He placed them on my heart not only to speak a message to me but to all who come to the site as well as to preserve them for my children and grandchildren and then gave me a wife and children who made it all possible.

 

I felt the call to the ministry in 1962 but like Moses and Jonah I resisted the call and ran from God. God never let me get away and continued to pull at my heart strings until I surrendered and began this ministry of writing messages of encouragement to those whose homes He leads me to daily or to those who are experiencing trying times in their lives. I now receive wonderful inspiring letters and prayer requests from all over the world and the ministry grows daily.
