Dear family:
During the past few weeks I have been attacked everyday for my stand
against the gay and lesbian agenda which is hard at work to sodomize,
seduce and rape our society. The terrible lifestyle of sin they have
chosen is not unlike those who would lie for political gain or lay with
their neighbor's wife in an adulterous relationship or even cheat on
their taxes.
This political season has brought into public view a vivid comparison of
how sin is looked upon by some in this society. The legislators passed a
law to clean up deceptive campaign ads by requiring candidates to add
the words, "My name is --- and I approve of this ad." While this
statement is supposed to prevent the lies it only serves to say, "I
approved or endorsed this lie." While this is a futile attempt to
legislate morality in politics it is still in contrast to Lamda and
other organizations which are seeking to have all moral reminders
legislated out of society. They want morality out of government, school,
family and public view. The idea is that if we don't see beacons of
morality we will not recognize immorality. Immorality is of course our
soft word for that unspeakable 3 letter word SIN!
John 15:22 "If I had not come and
spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for
their sin. (NKJ)
John 9:41 Jesus said to them, "If
you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.'
Therefore your sin remains. (NKJ)
Jesus said, in effect, "the speak no evil, see no evil and hear no evil
monkey was not innocent." Just because sin is in the privacy of some
bedroom somewhere does not make it less sin. Just because no one sees
sin does not mean sin is not present. When the tree falls in the forest
it does produce sound. Just because no one is there to capture the sound
waves on their eardrum or on a tape recorder does not mean there is no
sound. Just because the world is not aware of our secret sin does not
mean the sin does not exist.
Ezek 8:12-18 Then He said to me,
"Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in
the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, 'The LORD
does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.'" And He said to me,
"Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.
"So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the LORD'S house; and
to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz .Then He said
to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see
greater abominations than these." So He brought me into the inner court
of the LORD'S house; and there, at the door of the temple of the LORD,
between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their
backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, and
they were worshiping the sun toward the east. Then He said to me, "Have
you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah
to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled
the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger.
Indeed they put the branch to their nose. "Therefore I also will act in
fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in
My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them." (NKJ)
Just because the Children of Israel committed their sin in the darkness
of their rooms does not mean that God did not see them. In their secrecy
they worshipped idols and false gods but the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob saw them and He was angry. Not unlike today even the women wept
over their false god Tammuz.
Tammuz was a pagan god associated with
Ishtar. The young god Tammuz was considered both divine and mortal
(Ezek. 8:14). In Babylonian mythology Tammuz died annually and was
reborn year after year, representing the yearly cycle of the seasons and
the crops. This pagan belief later was identified with the pagan gods
Baal and Anat in Canaan. Babylonia of course is none other than Iraq and
parts of other Arab countries.
Just because we all have idols, false gods and sin does not mean we
should legislate protection for our particular favorite sin. It may be a
trivial thing to us but it is
abomination to God. Sin never brings lasting
satisfaction; it only creates a larger appetite. The appetite for sex,
drugs, hate and alcohol all grow to uncontrollable proportions without
the intervention of The God of the universe. But God is a gentle man and
will not force Himself into our lives. It must begin with Him tugging at
our heart but it is up to us to invite Him into our situation. Only He
can heal our sickness of sin regardless of the sin.
Solomon learned late in his life that sin is no respecter of persons and
even a man with great gifts from God can indulge in sin. As I read his
words I think of today. As I read his words I see the torment and
anguish of a man who knew that he had broken the heart of God and
desired to have the pain of it removed from him.
Proverbs 30:7-33 Two things I
request of You (Deprive me not before I die): Remove falsehood and lies
far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches-- feed me with the food
allotted to me; Lest I be full and deny You, and say, "Who is the LORD?"
Or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God. Do not
malign a servant to his master, lest he curse you, and you be found
guilty. There is a generation that curses its father, and does not bless
its mother. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, yet is
not washed from its filthiness. There is a generation-- oh, how lofty
are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation
whose teeth are like swords, and whose fangs are like knives, to devour
the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men. The leech has
two daughters-- give and Give! There are three things that are never
satisfied, four never say, "Enough!": The grave, the barren womb, the
earth that is not satisfied with water-- and the fire never says,
"Enough!" The eye that mocks his father, and scorns obedience to his
mother, the ravens of the valley will pick it out, and the young eagles
will eat it. ……. If you have been foolish in exalting yourself, or if
you have devised evil, put your hand on your mouth. For as the churning
of milk produces butter, and wringing the nose produces blood, so the
forcing of wrath produces strife. (NKJ)
When life begins to come to a close it is amazing how unimportant some
things become and how important other things become. Solomon was
considered the wisest man to have ever lived yet in the last days of his life
he looked around at all his riches and all that he had and had done and
said, "Lest I be full and deny You,
and say, "Who is the LORD?" What a shame to come down to
that in the end instead of at the beginning.
We may today say it is trivial but sin is sin. Satan has never changed
his tactics. He still makes sin attractive to men and women alike. He
says to women, "there is nothing wrong with exploiting your sexuality,"
and to men he says, "there is nothing wrong with desiring what God has
made."
Matt 5:28 "But I say to you that
whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery
with her in his heart. (NKJ)
It is sin for a man to look and lust and it is sin for the woman to
entice him to look with lust. We cannot say white and black lies are
racial issues which should be protected under the constitution any more
than we can say that homosexuality is not sin and should be protected
under the discrimination laws. Adultery, murder, child abuse and lying
are all sin and should not be protected by anti-morality laws. While
some sin may be commonplace, they should not be considered normal or
protected by law.
It is easy for us to say, "I'm not so bad; I don't do this or that."
Luke 18:11-12 "The Pharisee stood
and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other
men-- extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
'I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' (NKJ)
But we all sin and come short of God's glory. None of us are righteous
except in Christ. It is not possible for us to be perfect. When we come
to the place where Paul did and realize that while we may want to live a
righteous life, sin is in our nature and warring against our mind.
Rom 7:18-25 For I know that in me
(that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with
me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I
will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do
it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present
with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God
according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members,
warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to
the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who
will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God-- through Jesus
Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God,
but with the flesh the law of sin. (NKJ)
Only when we are ready to seek God's forgiveness and cleansing can we
begin to be changed to what we should be. Only as we permit Christ to
rule and reign in our lives are we able to overcome our desire to live a
life of sin. The change comes from Him not the congress. It is easy to
be delivered from a life of some sins yet it is difficult to be
delivered from others. Sex, alcohol and drugs are like demons who do not
want to give up their hold on people's lives. It will be difficult for
homosexuals to surrender their lives to Christ but there is no
deliverance from that life of sin aside from Christ. No resolution will
last. Christ alone can make the demon of homosexuality come out. Only
Christ can cleanse the body and mind from the scars of this terrible
sin. It will be hard to come out from among them but Christ can and will
bring you out. Christ is a gentle man and must be asked. The Bible says
the requirement for being forgiven and cleansed is to:
Confess -- that you are a sinner. Name the sin, tell it like it
is. Do not try to make it less than it is.
Repent – turn from the sin. Do whatever you have to, to get out
of the atmosphere of the sin. Throw out the drugs, pour out the booze
and break off the sexual relationship. Come out from among those who
encourage you to stay in sin.
Ask Christ – to come into your life and change you. Ask Him to
give you a new life. Ask Him to deliver you from the bondage and guilt
of your past. Sex, drugs and alcohol all have strong ties to low self
esteem. Christ considered you worth dying for so who are you to think
otherwise? Always remember it is through grace that Christ has
paid our debt. Grace is unmerited favor. We do not deserve it.
Tell – others about your new life.
Get involved – with a bible believing, bible teaching church.
Start studying the bible. Let nothing prevent you from spending time in
bible study and prayer.
When we come to Christ, a really tough battle begins in our lives. The
war begins between good and evil. We must choose obedience to Christ or
surrender to Satan and sin.
Iraq is a good example of good verses evil. Although the forces of good
are in Iraq, they do not control the forces of evil. Neither God nor
good does the things we saw done recently in Iraq.
From the beginning of time God has sought to bring mankind to Himself.
He has sought to bring mankind into a greater degree of civility. The
definition of civility and humanity do not include hatred, civil
disobedience, lawlessness, murder, rape and the like. Only in paganism
and pagan worship do those attributes flourish. Humanity is at the
threshold of a new era in its development. Civilization must proceed to
a higher and greater degree of civility or it will begin to slide back
into the dark ages of pagan worship where "reality" will be presented as
sex and violence with the Howard Sterns of the world presenting the
thought for the day.
Ancient history records that over 3000 years ago a war began between
Baal and Jehovah God. Baal was the god of the Arabs and Jehovah the God
of the Hebrews. The internet is full of information on Baal, Isis,
Ishtar and baphomet. http://www.pantheon.org/articles/b/baal.html
http://inanna.virtualave.net/ishtar.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baphomet
. There are many who believe that the god of Islam is in reality baal
because of the influence of Mohammed's uncle and grandfather both
worshippers of forms of baalism. In my opinion, the only way to have peace in the Middle
East is for Islam to be converted to Christianity. Heaven is not an orgy
with 70 virgins. It is life eternal in the presence of the creator of
the universe, Jehovah God.
Throughout history the Children of Israel worshipped false gods.
Christianity has been plagued with its share of idol worship as well. It
is in man's nature to seek to know who the true God is. When man does
not study to know God and Christ it becomes easy for him to begin to
depend on the false gods of money, power and self to control his
circumstances. The only hope for peace is for Jews, Moslems and
Christians to come out from among the false pagan gods to Jesus Christ,
the son of the only true God of the universe. It is never too late to do
so and there is no sin but that of rejecting Christ which will not be
forgiven and cleansed. It is done by faith through grace. We cannot
work for it, we cannot earn it, it is free but only to those who come
out and ask for it. It is as simple as asking God to reveal himself
to you right now, right where you are. Simply ask Him to cleanse your
heart, come in and make your heart his dwelling place and He will!
If you have made the decision to come out please send me an email
and let me know.
Eph 3:8-21 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints,
this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the
unsearchable riches of Christ, and to
make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the
beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things
through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God
might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in
the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He
accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and
access with confidence through faith in Him. Therefore I ask that you do
not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this
reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom
the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you,
according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might
through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your
hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may
be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length
and depth and height-- to know the love of Christ which passes
knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to
Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the
church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (NKJ)
